The cost of getting a transplant can be overwhelming, as there are multiple aspects involved, including demographic, health, financial, and lifestyle changes. At the Pre to Post Transplant Foundation, we aim to assist all members of the organ donation community by providing resources and aid through our programs.

However, as a new organization, our programs are currently limited, and we need your help to maintain and expand them. Presently, we offer two programs that require funding. Our cleaning program ensures that transplant recipients return to a sanitized and clean home, allowing them and their caregivers to concentrate on recovery instead of cleaning. This service costs us between $150 - $350 per person.

 

Our parking program is another initiative that is crucial for the transplant community. Parking at the Texas Medical Center's parking garages costs $19 per day, which can be a significant financial burden for many people. We currently offer this service only to our Community Partner, Nora's Home, and its residents, but we aim to extend it to the entire transplant community.
